TehRocketLab ("we", "us", "our") operates the WordLadder mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the game and leaderboard.

For players 13 and over (optional):

• Display name — a nickname you choose, displayed on the global leaderboard
• Country — your selected country, displayed alongside your leaderboard score
• Game scores — your high score and session results

For players under 13:

• Game scores only — no name, no country, no personal identifiers of any kind

What we do NOT collect (for any player):

• Email address or phone number
• Device ID or hardware identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts or camera access
• Any biometric data

2. How We Use Your Information

• Display name and country: shown publicly on the global leaderboard only
• Game scores: stored to power the leaderboard and your personal best
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

WordLadder includes players under 13. We comply fully with COPPA:

• Players who identify as under 13 during onboarding provide no personal information
• They appear on the leaderboard as "Anonymous"
• No targeted advertising is shown to under-13 players
• Parental or guardian consent is obtained before any data processing for under-13 players
• Parents or guardians may contact us via our support page to review, update, or delete their child's data

4. Advertising

WordLadder uses Google AdMob to serve rewarded ads (shown only when a player chooses to watch an ad to earn an extra life). We serve non-personalized ads only. Google AdMob may collect certain device information as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

• Leaderboard scores are retained as long as the service operates
• You may request deletion of your display name and score at any time by contacting us

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
